 Hi there,

I am Glynis Bretherton the Director of MindCare Queensland.  Austalian Hypnosis and Training Services is a division of Mind Care Queensland.  Fifteen years ago I decided to change my career path.  I wanted to contribute to the community in someway...doing something.....this is where my journey begun .After 3 years of studying and hours of volunteer work I became a counsellor.  Soon I realised that it was taking clients quite a bit of time to make positive changes in their lives.  Some clients became frustrated because they just wanted to move forward, 'to get on with it'.

So I started researching the subconscious mind.  I am fascinated with the workings of the subconscious mind and my research lead me  to study hypnosis.  This is it!  I discovered  hypnosis is beyond therapy, more than science and hard to intellectualise.  Through hynosis one can access the untapped potential that lives within all of us. By learning self hypnosis you will be able to change yourself.

Finally,  something that could  'help clients to help themselves'.  Now my working life is full of witnessing clients gain confidence, improve their performance, overcome phobias and fears, lose weight, stop smoking, control pain and that is only the start of it........I am so passionate about the Clinical Hypnotherapy Profession I now teach a Diploma of Clinical Hypnosis.   To find out more about what AHATS offers continue to have a look around the website.
